Liangshan Ziwumen Kung Fu Series Vol 3: Chuojiao Lianhuantui
Vol 3: Chuojiao Lianhuantui 戳脚连环腿 Chuojiao Lianhuantui is an unusual style of traditional Ziwumen Kung Fu that deploys powerful leg techniques. According to legend, this form was created a heroes of Outlaws of the Marsh, the tiger-slayer Wu Song. The full name is Chuojiao Lianhuantui which means ‘poking feet, linking legs’. This Choujiao form is presented with extensive applications and variations, including defense against armed assailants.

The 14th Annual Tiger Claw Elite KungFuMagazine.com Championship will be held on May 17, 2025, in the spacious South Hall of San Jose’s McEnery Convention Center, California. Tiger Claw Elite KungFuMagazine.com Championship will include Traditional Kung Fu, the Shaolin Games, Wushu, Two Showcase Championships, Award Presentations and Masters’ Exhibitions. This year, we are reverting to a one-day event. Once again, the Tiger Claw Elite KungFuMagazine.com Championship will host an official Shaolin Kung Fu Games under the auspices of the original Shaolin Temple of China and the Shaolin North American Association. Additionally, the The Tiger Claw Elite KungFuMagazine.com Championship will be cooperating with UC Berkeley’s longstanding Chinese Martial Arts Tournament; CMAT will be overseeing the Wushu division. The special Showcase championships are the WildAid Tiger Claw Championship and the LED Saber competitions. The WildAid Tiger Claw Championship is a benefit for WildAid, a non-profit global organization that seeks to preserve endangered species in the wild; All proceeds from this event will be donated to WildAid. The LED Saber Championship is under the auspices of Terra Prime Light Armory, the national governing body for lightfencing. All Showcase Champions receive unique prizes and special attention in our post Championship coverage.

To celebrate May 4th, the Tiger Claw Elite Championships held one of their noteworthy special events. TCEC teamed up with Terra Prime Light Armory to hold the first LED Saber Forms competition. An elite panel of judges was led by Head Judge Chad Eisner of Terra Prime Light Armory and included Liang Shou-Yu, Grace Wu-Monnat, Bryant Fong and Jeff Lin.
